For best magnetic adhesion, we recommend using a phone case no thicker than 0.098 in (2.5 mm). Magnetic strength may vary depending on the material, surface, and thickness of the case.

Yes. AluDisc Go includes one metal ring for use with your smartphone or compatible phone case. Additional metal rings can be purchased separately if you would like to use the mount with multiple devices or cases.

Q2. Do I need to use the metal ring with my phone?

For most smartphones, yes. The included metal ring creates a secure magnetic connection between your phone and AluDisc Go.

Q3. Can I mount AluDisc Go on either the dashboard or air vent?

Yes. AluDisc Go includes both a dashboard base and a vent insert, allowing you to choose the mounting position that best suits your vehicle and driving setup.

For best results, we recommend using a phone case no thicker than 0.098 in (2.5 mm).

Q5. Will the metal ring affect Apple MagSafe charging?

In our lab testing, the metal ring did not prevent charging with an original Apple MagSafe Charger.

Q6. Will the metal ring scratch my phone?

No. The metal ring uses a 3M adhesive layer, so the adhesive surface—not the metal itself—comes into contact with your phone or case.

No. The included ring is made of non-magnetic metal and is designed not to interfere with normal phone operation.
